You may have heard of her when she reached the 4th round at Wimbledon. Well the 17-year old Oudin is off to a great start at the US Open with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 second-round win over fourth-seeded Elena Dementieva. Then to top that, she beat 29th-seeded Maria Sharapova 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 in the third round. Go Oudin!

UPDATE: She is through to the quarterfinals, with a win over Russia’s Nadia Petrova, the 13th seed.
