Serena Williams just won another major and I have to ask, who in the history of women’s tennis would be able to compete with her? She’s too strong and just too good.

Worst showing in 15 years… that’s right FIFTEEN, wow! Venus has been killing it for a longtime.

Need a reason to watch TV tomorrow? Here’s why you should drop whatever you have going and watch Wimbledon. Maria Sharapova vs Serena Williams. This is the very best women’s sports you will see. Between their skill level, successful history, rivalry, beauty just plain awesomeness… there is nothing better to watch when it comes to women’s sports. T
Venus and Serena are the No. 1 doubles team in the world… duh! In my opinion, they are the greatest female doubles team ever! After reaching the finals of the French Open, they are now ranked Number 1. Add to that that Serena is ranked No. 1 in singles, very cool!
I didn’t get my all Williams sisters singles final. But now I’m glad Serena didn’t make it. And I didn’t get my Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal final either. I didn’t get the Bryan brothers in the final. But I got a mixed doubles win from Oregon’s Travis Parrott and I’m hoping for another Fed win. And I got the Williams sisters in the doubles final, which I wanted… but now I’m not sure about.
We talked recently about the best/worst way to lost a match. We had some great examples… well, Serena Williams just put all of those to shame on the the grandest scale of them all… the US Open… and in the semifinals no less. So uh, yeah, ending on a point penalty for threatening an official is probably the worst way to go. Ouch!

• 3 Women still alive in womens doubles – Liezel Huber, Serena Williams and Venus Williams.
• 2 in the mixed doubles semifinals, and hopefully soon finals – Carly Gullickson and Travis Parrott.
